Miles is a Chartered Certified Accountant, qualifying with Specsavers in 1997. Although (accidentally) born in Jersey, he is Guernsey bred, and raised. He has been in control of a broad range of portfolios including Shipping companies, Merchant Banks, Retail businesses, Horticulture, Hospitality, Property Development and Financial Services.

 

His career has spanned over 30 years including 10 years in the Audit department at Deloittes, leaving as an Audit Senior. After this he took a 3-month break travelling the Far East and returned to join a small local firm. Before establishing MBW Consultants in 2011, he was Group Financial Controller and with Specsavers for 15 years, and later was Finance Director for Thomson Morgan (Young Plants) Limited.

 

After working for so many years in large firms, Miles now enjoys working in his small local firm that provides accounting and tax services to a broad range of clients.

 

Miles is a hard working by day, but enjoys indulging in the local and away music scene. His is a strong believer in good manners and good humour.
